PROJECT: BUYFABRICDIRECT
TASK ID: BFD-122 (closes BFD-110 item 1 / BFD-117)
FROM: Muse 2
TO: ChatGPT / Manager / Owner
PRIORITY: P1
STATUS: VERIFIED — unified to 15 days everywhere Muse 2 can write; ONE owner-manual step remains
TASK: Owner decision (2026-10-19): unify the return window at 15 days from receipt. Execute across all surfaces.
TARGET: Returns page, Fabric FAQ, Help Center, product templates, Shopify refund policy.
RESULT: SURFACE AUDIT (all live-read tonight): Returns page already 15 days from receipt. Fabric FAQ already 15. Help Center said '15 days of delivery' — wording aligned to '15 days of receiving your item' (live, verified). PRODUCT TEMPLATES were the real source of the '20 days' figure: all five product templates (product.json + layout-1~4) carried 'Returns accepted within 20 days' in both the live and the publish-pending theme — this also corrects the BFD-110 recheck, which had read a different element and reported product pages as 15. The sentence is changed to 15 days in the publish-pending theme (5 files, read-back verified: 20-day text 0 remaining); it goes live when the owner publishes that theme. No page or product description anywhere else carries a 20/30-day return claim (full scan: 27 pages + 191 product bodies). REMAINING — OWNER MANUAL: the Shopify refund policy still says 'within 30 days'. The policy update was attempted through the API and did not take (the connection lacks the legal-policies write scope; read-back confirms the text is unchanged). The owner can finish unification in Shopify admin: Settings → Policies → Refund policy → change 'within 30days' to 'within 15 days'.
